Over the past year, local siblings Kaden and Kinley have poured their time and energy into fundraising for their upcoming educational trip to Italy and Greece through EF Educational Tours. From bake sales and car washes to pet sitting, babysitting, fall and spring flower sales, and even working concession stands at school sporting events, they’ve taken every opportunity to get closer to their goal. So far, their hard work has paid off—they’ve raised an incredible $6,000 toward their $10,000 goal. With just two months until departure, they’re in the final push to close the gap. That’s where YOU come in. They are hosting their second—and final—fundraiser yard sale on April 9–11, and it’s shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. Thanks to the generosity of over 20 amazing families and friends, the sale is packed with a huge variety of items—clothing, toys, books, home décor, kitchenware, shoes, jewelry, baby items, tools, and so much more. There’s truly something for everyone! If you’d like to meet the travelers, they will be working at the sale all day on Saturday, 4/11. To honor the huge amount of effort they’ve put into organizing and setting up the sale, family members will be running the sale for them while they are in school on Thursday and Friday. Regardless of when you choose to shop, every purchase helps bring them one step closer to this once-in-a-lifetime educational experience.
