Saturday 5 September 2026 The Marin Amateur Radio Society Silent Auction The Marin Amateur Radio Society will be holding a silent auction at our clubhouse at 27 Shell Road, Mill Valley, CA 94941. Doors open at 10:00 am. Burgers, Dogs, Sodas and all the fixns will be ready at noon. There will be door prizes including handhelds and assorted accessories. The items for auction will be numbered and have a numbered sheet of paper next to them with a description of the item and a reserve price. To bid write your name on the next line on the sheet and your bid. You may return and add a higher bid until bidding for the item closes. Bidding will close after noon on specific groups of items at the discretion of the auctioneer. This is done to avoid long waits to see who has won an item. If you are interested is a specific item, it is in your interest to show up early. If by 2:30 there are no bids on an item exceeding the reserve price the Donations Committee may decide to offer the item to the highest bidder. So that we can provide enough food please let us know you are coming by emailing to show contact info you can also direct any questions to that email. The Fine Print Payments may be made in Cash or Credit/Debit Cards. We cannot accept Checks. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ON ANY EQUIPMENT. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL EQUIPMENT FOR SALE HERE IS FROM DONATIONS TO MARS. SOME ITEMS CAME FROM WORKING STATIONS, OTHERS NOT. WE DO NOT HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO TEST EVERY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT THAT WE RECEIVE. YOU MAY INSPECT ALL ITEMS HERE AND YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO DO SO. HOWEVER, EVERY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT IS SOLD AS IS AND THE RESERVE PRICES REFLECT THAT.
